Advice for customers with existing bookings

When you make a booking via View Retreats you pay direct to the owner according to their own terms and conditions. Changes, cancellations and refunds are processed by the property owner or manager directly according to their own booking terms. This means that terms vary for each and every booking.

Because of this, if you wish to change, cancel or request a refund on your booking, please contact the property owner or manager directly using the contact details in your confirmation documentation. If you need any help with contacting a property owner or manager, please get in touch and we can provide you contact details or pass on your request directly to the owner.

Please remember that every owner and property manager is different and policies are changing hourly based on the most up to date advice. View Retreats does not have any influence over whether an owner will vary their standard terms or offer you a refund.

If you are contacting a property owner or manager to request changes, please consider the extraordinary pressure that most tourism businesses are under at the moment. Many of our property manager partners are responsible for hundreds of individual properties and the task of managing a huge amount of changes is being prioritised according to arrival date. It may take a while for some owners or managers to respond to you, so your patience and understanding will be appreciated.

 

Advice for making a future booking

You are still welcome and encouraged to make future bookings at any of the accommodations listed on our website. If you do so, you should be aware of the change and cancellation policy that applies to your booking and investigate whether your travel insurance coverage will cover any possible changes caused by COVID-19.

It is your sole responsibility to ensure you understand the terms and conditions that apply to your booking. Although many owners are offering flexibility at this time, please don’t assume that all owners are in a position to make exceptions to their standard terms.
