Overview

Nestled in the picturesque Oberon countryside, Waldara is a destination wedding & event venue with two fully self-contained guest houses in the Central Tablelands region of NSW. Presenting a romantic and rustic setting like no other, this exclusive 800-acre country property provides the perfect destination for intimate sunset weddings, corporate events and family getaways.

Waldara is conveniently located near the township of Oberon, which is only a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Sydney through the Blue Mountains. At this versatile venue, you have the freedom to create your own bespoke event surrounded by luxurious amenities and unspoilt countryside landscape.

Boasting a picturesque gazebo island and expansive manicured gardens, you are free to use any part of the venue grounds for your event. In addition, the elegant function centre features a sophisticated and rustic interior with ambient lighting, hand-crafted hardwood banquet tables, rustic bentwood chairs, and a spacious sun-drenched verandah. The function centre can be hired at an additional fee.


Along with the many event spaces, Waldara Farm offers two luxe guest houses on-site that can sleep up to a total of 20 guests. The Homestead and The Barn have both been lovingly restored with a refined mix of modern and antique finishes that truly captivate.

The Homestead can accommodate up to 10 guests in complete comfort. This lovely home features a stylish open plan living area with open fire, a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, and an outdoor spa bath. French doors along the entire northern side of the residence open onto a sunlit wraparound verandah, which also leads to a viewing platform with relaxed outdoor seating. The Homestead features a master suite with a luxurious queen-size bed and a private ensuite, the second bedroom also has a queen-size bed, while the other three bedrooms each have two single beds.


Accommodating up to 10 guests, The Barn is a traditional log cabin designed to be simple yet memorable. This charming residence features a fully equipped gourmet kitchen and an open plan entertainment area with a handcrafted, solid oak dining table. Extensive glass windows provide breathtaking views from inside, as well as filling the entire space with natural light. The Barn features a master bedroom with a queen-size bed and a private ensuite. The second bedroom includes a queen-size bed and a double sofa bed, while the third bedroom has a queen-size bed and two single beds.
